Sounds come from behind in 9th to post 5-3 win.

April 12, 2010

In a close one at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, the Nashville Sounds came from behind in their last AB and scored three runs. With bases loaded and one out, Adam Heether turned in a stand-out performance at the plate, facing nine pitches from reliever Carlos Rosa. But Heether won that match earning the game-tying walk to make it 3-3. Ben Johnson then hit a sac-fly scoring Katin – the eventual game-winning run.

John Axford worked the 9th allowing two Omaha batters on base. With one out and runners on 1B and 2B, Irving Falu pinched hit and on the first pitch hit into a 6/4/3 double play.

McClendon (NAS) in relief earns his first win, and John Axford earned his 2nd save of the year.

Nashville goes 5-0 on the year and Omaha falls to 1-4.
