Sounds pound RedHawks in 11-5 win at Greer

Chase Wright (W, 5-5) turned in a quality start tonight as the Sounds pounded the Oklahoma City RedHawks by a score of 11-5 before a crowd of 7,535 fans in Nashville. Wielding the heavy lumber for Nashville were:

Alcides Escobar 3-for-5, 1 run, 1 RBI

Hernan Iribarren 2-for-5, 2 runs, 3 RBIs

Angel Salome 3-for-4, 2 runs, 1 RBI

Adam Heether 2-for-4, 1 run, 1 RBI

Brendan Katin 2-for-3, 2 runs, 3 RBIs

Cole Gillespie 2-for-4, 1 run, 1 RBI

The Sound’s had big innings in the 3rd, 4th and 5th, scoring all eleven runs by the end of the 5th inning.

Koshansky had a double (11). Gillespie smacked his 5th triple. And Nashville home runs were notched by Katin (16), Iribarren (2), and Heether (6).
