Mike Burns (6-0, 2.15) takes the mound tonight against Portland Beavers

May 23, 2009

Mike Burns (6-0, 2.15) takes the mound tonight (9PM, CST) against the Portland Beavers, LHP Cesar Ramos (0-3, 3.27).

One of the biggest surprises for the Sounds in 2009 has been pitching. Starters Tim Dillard (6-2) and Mike Burns (6-0) are a combined 11-2 so far.  Burns was a January roster-add for the Sounds and has pitched brilliantly overall in 2009. He has been virtually untouchable.
