Not only do the Nashville Sounds have a new look with the $2.5 million dollar renovation of Greer Stadium for 2009, but the Sounds have a new manager in former Major Leaguer Don Money.

We’re in the Money . . .

Don Money was a four time All-Star infielder for the Milwaukee Brewers during his career (1968-1983). He played in 1,720 games, had 1,623 hits, and had a lifetime batting average of .261.

The 61 year old skipper has compiled a 829-842 record (.496) in his 13 seasons as a minor league manager with Class A Oneonta (1987-88), Class A Beloit (1998-2004), and Class AA Huntsville (2005-08).

He was a member of the 1982 American League Champion squad and was inducted into the Brewers’ Walk of Fame in 2005.
